Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Guardian Eye ("the Service"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using our apps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and lawful use

You may use Guardian Eye only to monitor a minor child for whom you are the parent or legal guardian, or a device that you own and are legally permitted to monitor. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all laws that apply to you, including any obligation to obtain consent or provide notice.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • You must not use the Service to monitor any person or device without the legal right to do so. Installing monitoring software on another adult's device without their knowledge or consent may be illegal.
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or abusive purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.

2. The Service

Guardian Eye provides a parent app and a child app that let an authorised user monitor a device they control, with data delivered to the user's private account. Features may change or be improved over time.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment processor, Stripe, until cancelled.
  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel beforehand.
  • Prices are shown on our pricing page and may be subject to applicable taxes.
  • Each plan permits monitoring up to the number of devices and usage limits stated for that plan.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period; your subscription then ends and is not renewed. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate the rights of others.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that monitoring will be uninterrupted, complete, or error-free, as it depends on the child device, its operating system, network conditions, and device settings.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any misuse of the Service by you or others. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of laws principles.
